ABOUT
Based in Yonago, Japan.
Shinya values the feeling of any given moment, more than its explanation afterwards. In his photography he deals with human encounters and patterns in space.
While travelling the world, he has used his photography to explore the complex relationships between places and life in architecture, urban space and lifestyle. Twice his works were part of collections in the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts in Yamanashi, Japan.

MYNT.ERVIEW
Name something you love, and why.
Traces of people's lives. They are all art left by people. It doesn't matter if it's famous or unknown.
Which professional success meant the most to you?
The moment someone sees my work and feels something.
Could you eat cheesecake for a whole week?
That's an interesting suggestion. If time permits, I would like to have tea time in various places for a week in the healing nature.
Analog or Digital?
I like both, but digital is my best friend in modern society.
Where do you go when you want to be with you?
Then, why don't we go on a trip to eat cheesecake for a week?
Why photography?
It doesn't have to be a photography. However, cameras were always close to me.
What was the weirdest encounter, the craziest adventure or the most beautiful moment you experienced on a shoot?
I think photography is an adventure in exploring something. Everywhere there should be something exciting and beautiful. It depends on the condition of mind that feel beautiful.
What part of the human face is your favorite?
The eyes that can feel the universe most.
Where does your inspiration live?
In a relaxed state
